Heliwing has developed innovative and proven cost-saving methods to assess, construct and maintain power line conductors and structures. The company has a purpose built cable stringer and has done extensive cable stringing for electricity supply networks. Application of pole rot gel using a purpose designed applicator is a popular method of pole maintenance.

Heliwing has trained a specialist team for cost and timesaving human sling line maintenance that includes:

  • one man sling-over pre-assessment inspection and

  • positioning six men maintenance crew on to structures.

Heliwing offers power line insulator washing services, on both live and non-live lines. The directional nozzle gives a high-pressure water jet with adjustable flow for differing levels of contamination. The system uses a minimal volume of water.

The company’s services and procedures meet strict international safety standards and fulfil the requirements of electrical transmission authorities worldwide.
